Route description

The University of Twente is in the east of the Netherlands between the cities of Enschede and Hengelo, approximately 160km from Amsterdam.

By car

From Hengelo or Enschede follow signs to the ‘Universiteit’.

From the A35 motorway, near Enschede, take exit 26 ‘Enschede-West/Universiteit’, and then follow signs to the ‘Universiteit’.

By train

Travel to Enschede. For more information, see the Netherlands Railways website.

By bus

From the Enschede train station take

·	bus line 1 to the Universiteit - the bus stops at several places on the campus

·	bus line 9 to Hengelo - get off at the UT Viaduct bus stop

From the Hengelo train station take

·	bus line 9 to Enschede - get off at the UT Viaduct bus stop

·	bus line 15 to the Universiteit - the bus stops at several places on the campus
